Wat de A7sII zo bijzonder maakt is zijn super lichtgevoelige FullFrame sensor. De A7sII kan tot ISO 20.000 ruisvrij draaien! Hierdoor is de camera ideaal voor in het donker filmen.Dankzij zijn FullFrame sensor krijg je veel meer scherpte diepte in je beeld dan met een Super35 sensor, en door zijn kleine formaat is hij ideaal om bijvoorbeeld in een Movi te gebruiken, maar je kan hem ook prima uit de hand gebruiken of op een DSLR rig zetten.
De A7sII heeft een E-mount, maar we hebben ook Metabones EF mounts en een Vocas PL-mount die erop kunnen worden gezet voor meer lensopties.
De camera kan UHD 4K opnemen tot 30fps, en in HD tot maximaal 120fps.
